KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 — Bursa Malaysia has issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query on BTM Resources Bhd due to the recent sharp rise in its share price and volume traded.
As at 10.55am, BTM Resources share price stood at 33.5 sen, down 1.5 sen, with 3.47 million shares transacted.
In a statement, Bursa Malaysia queried as to whether there were any corporate development that had not been previously announced that may account for the trading activity.
Bursa Malaysia also queried as to whether there was any rumour or report concerning the business and affairs of BTM Resources that may account for the trading activity and if the company was aware of any other possible explanation to account for the trading activity. — Bernama
