PETALING JAYA, June 6 — A new line of advertising mediums from MagiqADs was unveiled yesterday at Mydin USJ Subang Jaya.

The additions include three-dimensional floor animation, captivating standees at entrances and public areas, attention-grabbing board runners, larger-than-life wall wraps and theme-oriented cashier zones.

Since MagiqADs, a subsidiary of Redberry Group, became the exclusive retail media partner for Mydin, its outlets have attracted 1.13 million shoppers monthly through advertising.

“Today, we are here to tell the world about our working partnership with MagiqADs,” Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd managing director Datuk Wira Dr Ameer Ali Mydin said.

He said partnerships were essential to build better and stronger businesses.

“We need partnerships and collaborations because each person has his or her own expertise which can be separately focused on,” Ameer said at MagiqADs’ Media Day.

“Our job is to buy and sell, and MagiqADs ensures we are able to buy and sell more.”
Ameer said with MagiqADs in the mix, Mydin would be able to have an improved relationship with its customers at its outlets.

Yesterday’s event was held to build awareness among suppliers on how Mydin can be used as a powerful advertising platform.

There are more than 200 Mydin outlets, consisting of hypermarkets, supermarkets, emporiums, convenience stores and 1Malaysia grocery stores.

Their recent addition is Sam’s Groceria and Sam’s Deli, a new brand selling premium items.

Ancom Bhd and Redberry Group managing director Datuk Dr Siew Ka Wei said the partnership between Mydin and MagiqADs had grown by leaps and bounds over the past few years.

“We hope that the new mediums presented will be used effectively to reach the chosen target market. We are very proud to have been a part of Mydin’s growth and this partnership will work well for both our futures because of Mydin group’s expansion,” he said.

In conjunction with the unveiling of the new mediums, MagiqADs is offering a limited offer of 30 per cent off for most Mydin media. This promotion applies to all bookings made from now till June 20 while the consumption period runs from July till the end of this year.
