KUALA LUMPUR, May 2 — Mobile loyalty and rewards platform, Fave (previously known as Groupon), is partnering with Tune Hotels to offer Malaysians a flat rate on May 9.

Fave co-founder Yeoh Chen Chow said that the cost of travelling to their respective hometowns is a key concern for many voters, and that is why this offer came about.

“We partnered with Tune Hotels as they have a strong presence across the country and they also share the same values with us in helping Malaysians to vote with a peace of mind,” he said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Tune Hotels group chief executive officer Mark Lankester added that the upcoming election is set to see millions of Malaysians return from overseas and travel across the country to exercise their right to vote.
