IPOH, Sept 2 — Olympics silver medalist Cheong Jun Hoong will receive an apartment from the Perak government for her achievement in diving. The unit is worth RM320,000.
The Star Online quoted Datuk Shahrul Zaman Yahaya, the Perak Sports Committee chairman, as saying the housing gift was due for completion in Taman Meru in 2018.
Shahrul Zaman joked that Cheong will hopefully get a unit facing the swimming pool so that she can dive right in, according to the news portal
The housing development in Casa Kayangan is being handled by Kumpulan Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak.
