LABUAN, May 26 — The Labuan’s largest importer of dairy product chocolate for Labuan will adhere to government’s directive to withdraw all
Cadbury Dairy Milk products, detected containing pig DNA (porcine), pending further investigation from authority.
Sky Park Sdn Bhd Managing Director Datuk Francis Tee told Bernama all the products have been packed and taken out from the shelf.
“We have taken down from the shelf since yesterday and we have withdrawn from being sold to public,” he said when contacted.
He said he has directed all shops selling such products supplied by his company, to immediately comply with the directive.
Bernama’s random check found the popular free duty shop, Sky Park, has taken all the Cadbury Dairy products detected to have contained the pig DNA.
The shop assistants said they were directed by the employer to immediately take down and pack all the two dairy products yesterday.
Other free duty shops in the town area were also found to have complied with the government’s directive. — Bernama
