KUALA LUMPUR, April 21 — For the first time ever, Malaysia’s top men’s player Ong Beng Hee will conduct a squash clinic at the Astaka Sports Complex in Petaling Jaya on April 26.

The Squash Racquets Association of Selangor (SRAS) said aspiring squash players would have the opportunity to hone their skills during the session from 9am to 4pm.

“We are targeting 250 squash players, youngsters as young as pre-schoolers and members of the public,” it said in a statement today.

SRAS said Beng Hee, 34, would impart his squash skills and knowledge to local squash players during the clinic under a corporate social responsibility initiative.

The organisers said they intended to use that platform to further promote squash among young and aspiring players and create greater awareness about the sport as a whole within Selangor.

Beng Hee has won several local and international tournaments, including Asian Championship titles. — Bernama
