KUALA LUMPUR, May 11 — A Malaysian lawyer is suing Blackpink’s Born Pink World Tour concert organiser Live Nation Malaysia for up to RM1 million over his ‘missing’ seat at the show.
Twitter user Nas Rahman posted an update on Twitter yesterday, sharing that and he was taking legal action after negotiations fell through between him and the organisers.

In a TikTok video, he explained why he proceeded with the lawsuit against Live Nation Malaysia.

The ordeal at Blackpink’s Malaysian concert on March 4 in Bukit Jalil National Stadium began when Nas had to sit on the floor, along the stairway for the two-hour show.
He said that one of his seats for of his two tickets, number 37, did not exist as the seats only went up to 36 in section 207.
On March 6, Nas issued a letter of demand against Live Nation Malaysia and began to talks with the organisers for a resolution.

According to Nas, both parties could not come to an agreement, leading to his suit filed at the Sessions Court.
“The reason I believe action must be taken is not because of money,” he said.
“If I allow this issue to slide, it may happen to other concertgoers in the future and I don’t want it to happen to anyone again.”
Nas added that he would leave it to the courts to decide and would not reveal any more information on the case to comply with the legal procedures.
“It doesn’t matter if I win or lose the case. I hope that I can show Live Nation Malaysia and other concert organisers to understand their responsibility to their customers.”
The legal firm owner wasn’t the only concertgoer who had a bad experience as several social media users shared their bad experiences involving seats taken up or going ‘missing’.
