LOS ANGELES, Dec 3 — Chris Pratt filed for divorce from Anna Faris on Friday, multiple entertainment sites reported.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star cited irreconcilable differences in his court documents.
His wife of eight years filed a response at the same time — indicating the filing was carefully orchestrated.
They listed July 13 as the date of separation.

In the documents, Pratt and Faris also requested joint custody of their five-year-old son Jack.
Faris and Pratt announced their separation on August 6.
