LONDON, Nov 22 — A re-released version of the original Trainspotting soundtrack has shot to the top of the UK charts.
The album Trainspotting OST is number one on the Official UK Vinyl Albums Chart after being reissued in honour of the 1996 Danny Boyle movie’s 20th anniversary. The reissued version of the record comes in the form of a double-LP pressed on orange vinyl, NME reports, complete with original cover art.
The record’s success is timely, given that the film’s sequel, T2: Trainspotting, is set for release in January 2017, with Boyle once again directing. — AFP-Relaxnews
