KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 19 — Legendary American singer-songwriter, Michael Bolton, who will hold his first ever concert in Egypt, will be treated to a VIP experience while in Cairo, including tours of the city’s many significant cultural and historical sites such as the Great Pyramids of Giza.

The programme, organised with the cooperation of Egypt Tourism Authority, will coincide with Bolton’s concert to be held on Oct 21 at the Cairo International Fair Centre.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to show Bolton some of the unique culture of Egypt that is a must see for tourists all over the globe,” Chairman of the Egyptian Tourism Authority Hisham El Demery said in a statement.

He said that Bolton will join a long list of major performers and entertainers coming to enjoy all that Egypt has to offer.

Renowned across the globe for his incredible power ballads, Bolton is a multi-award winning singer and song-writer, who has released 17 studio albums and 35 singles, many of which have hit the top spot on the world’s music charts.

His greatest hits include How Am I Supposed to Live Without You?, When A Man Loves A Woman and Said I Loved You... But I Lied.

Bolton, whose highly successful career spans more than 40 years, has been awarded two Grammys for Best Pop Male Vocal Performance, as well as six American Music Awards and over 24 BMI and ASCAP awards. — Bernama
