LOS ANGELES, Aug 3 — Time travel drama Outlander “will be around for a while” according to the CEO of its commissioning TV network Starz.

With two seasons already aired since its 2014 premiere and another two ordered, each adapts one book in Diana Gabaldon’s genre-crossing series of novels.

There are a total of eight Outlander novels, with another in the pipeline, and Starz CEO Chris Albrecht has books five and six on his to-do list.

“They’re monumental, gigantic undertakings,” he said, reminding his audience at a Television Critics Association press day on August 1 that the network has “committed at least through book four.”

“As soon as I get to read books five and six, we will get to talk about that,” he said (via Vulture). — AFP-Relaxnews
