LOS ANGELES, April 20 — Here’s another trailer to delight fans eagerly awaiting Duncan Jones’ Warcraft movie.
The new trailer shows off intense conflicts between orc and human soldiers, with epic battles spilling across forests, deserts, and even in the sky.
The trailer’s description reads: “On June 10, fight together or die together.” Warcraft, which is based on the best-selling videogame series of the same name, will explore the origin of the orc-human wars.
The official synopsis for the movie, which has been titled Warcraft: The Beginning internationally, reads: “The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilisation faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonise another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home. So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.”
The film which is based on the “World of Warcraft” video game franchise stars Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Rob Kazinsky and Daniel Wu.
Warcraft is set for release on June 10.
