KOTA KINABALU, March 10 ― The National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas) will be setting up the Kinabalu Creative Centre (KCC) in Sabah to give a boost to the creative industry in the state.

Finas chairman Datuk Mohd Khusairi Abdul Talib said the KCC would act as a one-stop centre for activities related to the creative industry, specifically movie-making in Sabah.

According to him, the matter was relayed to Datuk Seri Musa Aman when he paid a courtesy call on the Sabah Chief Minister at his official residence Sri Gaya this afternoon.

"The Chief Minister was very happy with the news and has stated his readiness to make the matter a reality. He has also agreed to find a suitable site for the KCC," Mohd Khusairi said in a statement here.
