LOS ANGELES, Feb 5 — HBO has released a new trailer for the second season of futuristic thriller Westworld that gives us a peek at what’s in store.
Season two of HBO’s hit sci-fi western from Jonathan Nolan and JJ Abrams will see the return of actors Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, James Marsden, Miranda Otto, Jeffrey Wright and Ed Harris.
Broadcast from October to December 2016, this sci-fi series is based on Michael Crichton’s 1973 movie Westworld. The plot follows the original, and is set in a futuristic theme park populated by android hosts, where visitors can live out all kinds of fantasies. However, things start to go wrong when the androids turn against humans.
Westworld season 2 is set to premiere on April 22.
