Taraji P. Henson is a woman scorned in ‘Acrimony’ (VIDEO)

LOS ANGELES, Oct 20 — Lionsgate has released the first trailer for director Tyler Perry’s dark thriller Acrimony.

The film stars Taraji P. Henson as a faithful wife who grows weary of standing by her undeserving husband (played by Lyriq Bent). When she learns that her husband has indeed been deceitful, she goes on a rampage.

The film also stars Tika Sumpter, Danille Nicolet, Ajiona Alexus, Jazmyn Simon, Jason Vail, Brian Kayode-Patrick Johnson, Jay Hunter and Ptosha Storey.

The synopsis of the film reads: “A faithful wife (Henson) tired of standing by her devious husband (Bent) is enraged when it becomes clear she has been betrayed.”

Acrimony is set for release on March 30, 2018.
