PUTRAJAYA, May 23 — Members of the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) special task force have arrived at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters for what is believed to be its second meeting since its set-up.

Co-chair, former attorney-general Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail was seen being chauffered into the MACC headquarters here at 2.36pm today for the closed-door meeting slated for 3pm.

Bukit Aman Commercial Crimes Investigations Department director Commissioner Datuk Seri Amar Singh made his entry at 3.23pm.

MACC chief commissioner Datuk Seri Mohd Shukri Abdull is said to have been inside the building since morning for a briefing session with the commission staff.

The remaining members of the task force, newly-minted Bukit Aman Special Branch director Datuk Abdul Hamid Bador and the MACC’s first chief commissioner Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed were not spotted entering but are believed to be attending the meeting.

Former Petrosaudi executive Andre Xavier Justo was reported entering the MACC headquarters here earlier today. It is unclear if he has left the premises.
