KUANTAN, Nov 22 — Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob wants Lee Chean Chung (PKR-Semambu) to withdrew his allegation that the 2014 Pahang Budget tabled by Adnan on Monday, was a false budget.
He described as unfounded, the allegation that the surplus budget of RM2.19 million in the 2014 Budget was false.
He said the statement by Lee during the debate on the 2014 Supply Bill and Water Supply and Development Expenditure Estimates motion on Tuesday, was disrespectful of the assembly.
“The member for Semambu should speak based on facts as each budget tabled is based on estimates which took all financial sources into consideration.
“Therefore, I want the Semambu member to withdrew the statement or we will bring the matter to the Pahang Legislative Assembly Rights and Privileges Committee for action to be taken against him,” he said at the 13th Pahang State Legislative Assembly sitting at Wisma Sri Pahang here today. — Bernama
