KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 30 — Creative platform RIUH will be back for its next round at APW in Bangsar with a whole bunch of exciting offerings.

Kick started in August, the monthly creative platform is now on its fifth edition and it will be held on December 2 and 3 from 10am till 9pm. This month visitors can once again expect a variety of pop-up stores from fashion brands for men, women and kids, homeware and artisanal produce to dishes and snacks that would curb the hunger pangs.

With Christmas around the corner, RIUH is set to add to the festive cheer with a series of live performances that include songbird Priscilla Xavier, classical instrumental band Casa String Quartet, duet band Kita:Orang and Youtube musician Wan Imar.

There will also be a medley of upbeat Joget performances well as a Mangunatip, a bamboo dance originated from Sabah.

As a special holiday treat, visitors will be able to take part in an exclusive six-in-one art crafts workshop by Craftiviti where they can learn how to make scented soap bars, sun printed handkerchiefs, aroma plaster ornaments, resin magnets, wax-bead layered candles and whipped lotion made from natural oils.

The workshop will be held on December 2 from 11am till 5pm, with  each activity estimated to take about 15 to 20 minutes. Tickets can be purchased via RIUH’s website.

In the true spirit of the season, there will be a range of Christmas-themed pastries such as sticky toffee puddings, buttery shortbread, walnut carrot cake to wholesome savoury meals such as smoked meat, warm homemade pies and local delights such as Nasi Kerabu Ayam Kampung Percik and Peranakan Assam Laksa.
