KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 6 — AirAsia X will start direct services from here to Jaipur, the capital city of  Rajasthan,  India with four-time weekly flights effective Feb 5, 2018.

In a statement, AirAsia X said, it kicks off the route with promotional all-in fares from as low as RM229 for economy seat and RM699 one way for Premium flatbed seats open for bookings on airasia.com for the travel period between Feb 5, 2018 and Nov 21, 2018.

“We hope it will provide better connectivity for business and leisure travellers to travel to Southeast Asian destinations,” AirAsia X’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Kamarudin Meranun said.

India, he said, is a very important market to the airline, and  it would continue to expand its services to key Indian cities including the second— and third-tier cities especially those that lacked good connectivity.
