KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 8 — Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) is targeting average monthly sales of 6,000 units of its all-new Myvi for the first three months of its introduction from tomorrow, bringing the total to about 18,000 units.

Its President/Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said the new model would be displayed at the company’s showrooms nationwide from tomorrow.

“It will be priced from RM44,300 to RM55,300. We expect the new colours ― glittering silver, lava red, mystical purple and peppermint green ― will create higher demand from the consumers,” he told reporters after the sneak peek of the new model here today.

The new Myvi features Eco Idle whereby the engine automatically shuts off when the car is stopped and restarts when the break pedal is released.

“Along with aerodynamic improvements, these contribute towards fuel economy figures of 20.1 km/l for the 1.5 AT,” he said.

The model comes with five variants; 1.3 Standard (MT), 1.3 standard G (AT), 1.3 Premium X (AT), 1.5!High (AT), and 1.5 Advance (AT)
