KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 — Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) head coach, Raul Longhi is confident that his side will advance into the Asean zone semi-finals in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup by scoring a big win against Song Lam Nghe An FC of Vietnam at Larkin Stadium, tomorrow.

The Southern Tigers must score at least five goals or more against the Vietnamese side in their final group H match if they want to keep their hopes alive in the Asian football club second tier competition.

“In football nothing is impossible. We will try to score as many goals as possible, maybe five. Why not? There are many probabilities in football. But what’s important is that we want to win,” Longhi was quoted as saying in the latest entry posted in JDT Facebook page, Johor Southern Tigers.

The 65-year-old Argentinian revealed that the match against Song Lam Nghe An was his top priority at the moment as the players had prepared well for the match.

Nevertheless, Longhi urged his players as not to take their opponents lightly as the Vietnamese club is a great team with good organisational structure.

“They have a fast attacking front, but if we play our football with full commitment, then I feel our chances of winning the game are high,” Longhi said, adding that he would rest a few key players ahead of their Super League away match against Kelantan on Saturday.
