LOS ANGELES, June 1 — Good Charlotte has a released a video for their recently released single Actual Pain that, like their upcoming album, deals with the difficult subjects of trauma and pain.

In the clip, a man is seen discovering a box in a basement that holds old family memories, reminding him of his childhood with a loving but depressed mother, a story that plays out as the video unfolds.

Actual Pain is the first single off the band’s upcoming album Generation Rx, which is due for release on September 14. The album is said to be written for a generation living through hard times, offering them “infectious” anthems of hope.

Next February 1, the band is due to head out on a European and UK tour in support of the LP. In the meantime, they’re scheduled to play a handful of festivals this summer, with shows in the coming days in Vienna and at Germany’s Rock Im Park and Rock Am Ring festivals. — AFP-Relaxnews
