LOS ANGELES, April 30 — Paris Hilton recently opened up about that infamous sex tape leak of hers that happened in late 2003.
The hotel heiress opened up the whole ordeal as one of the subjects in Bert Marcus’ new documentary The American Meme, which sheds light on a group of social media stars.
In the documentary, Hilton touches on the infamous sex tape with former boyfriend Rick Salomon which she said was meant to be private but instead ended up on a porn site.
“It was like being raped,” Hilton was quoted by USA Today as saying following the leak.
“It felt like I’d lost part of my soul and been talked about in such cruel and mean ways. I literally wanted to die at some points.
“I was like, ‘I just don’t want to live’, because I thought everything was taken away from me. I didn’t want to be known as that.”
The video was leaked about the same time Hilton’s reality show The Simple Life alongside Nicole Richie was about to be released.
