KUALA LUMPUR, March 1 — Datuk Hans Isaac has responded to allegations about fiancée Aileen Gabriella Robinson that have threatened to overshadow news of their engagement, which was announced yesterday.
This morning, a man claiming to be Robinson’s ex-boyfriend purported in a Facebook post that the 28-year-old model-actress-beauty-queen had dated both men at the same time, before alleging that “she was proposed to just a month ago, while we were still together.”
However, the 45-year-old actor-producer has dismissed the man’s assertions as “damaging” and “uncalled for” in a rebuff on Instagram. He also added that the “relationship ended years ago.”
Isaac wrote: “Very unfortunate that some guys can’t respect others on such a happy day for Gabby and me. When one has ended a relationship years ago and to damage the reputation for other on social media. When it’s a day that’s important to Gabby and me, is uncalled for. This guy has probably nothing going on for him that he need to seek the attention on social media. Damaging the good name of the person I love is uncalled for. All I can say is that I feel sorry for this guy. He need a life. Kesian.”
He also took the opportunity to thank his fans for their support, writing: “Salam Sayang to all who support us and are spreading good vibes... We shared yesterday announcement as we appreciated what all my fans and supporters have done for me the past many years. Thank u semua. Love u all for ever.”
Isaac and Robinson announced yesterday that they will tie the knot on July 29.
The couple first met when he was a judge for the Miss Universe Malaysia 2012 pageant but remained friends until a year ago when they decided to start dating.
