KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 25 — Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA) received a visit from a delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by its Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Adiz Boboev here, recently.
PR1MA chief executive officer Datuk Seri Mohd Nazri Md Shariff said during the session, both parties discussed various matters, while the corporation also shared its expertise on the initiatives and implementation of quality affordable housing projects in the country, namely the provision of 53,646 PR1MA residential units across the country, with 35,454 units completed, 14,427 units under construction and 3,765 units in the planning stage.
He said the visit from a foreign delegation was a recognition of PR1MA’s efforts to empower the people to own their own homes.
“The provision of quality housing that also emphasises community development, be it in the aspects of harmony to socioeconomics, is one of PR1MA’s key focuses in each of its projects. It was among the pull factors of PR1MA’s development model which was also shared with the delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan,” he said in a statement here today.
Mohd Nazri said as an agency under the Ministry of Local Government Development, PR1MA always welcomed the sharing of expertise on providing quality housing for the people.
He said that such visits also gave room for feedback from external parties about the advantages of PR1MA projects, as well as the improvements that could be made.
In conjunction with the visit, PR1MA also held an engagement session to introduce the provision of high-speed internet and quality facility management services through its two subsidiaries, namely PR1MA Communications Sdn Bhd (PCSB) and PR1MA Facilities Management Sdn Bhd (PFMSB) to the delegation at Residency Jalan Jubilee, which is one of PR1MA’s projects in Kuala Lumpur. — Bernama
