KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 17 — Police say they recovered DNA samples from a desk chair that killed a 15-year-old schoolboy after it was thrown from a low-cost apartment unit in Pantai Dalam on Monday.

City police chief Commissioner Datuk Mazlan Lazim said samples were collected by crime scene investigators and sent for further analysis.

“We have also recorded statements from 31 individuals including witnesses and residents of PPR Sri Pantai with no arrest made to date,” he said in a statement today.

He said the deceased was brought to Universiti Malaya Medical Centre for a post-mortem examination, but the result was not yet available.
