SHAH ALAM, June 16 —A businessman died after he was shot six times by an unidentified motorcyclist at the Sungai Rasau toll yesterday. 

In the 4.35pm incident, Gooi Tan Hook, 43, was driving to his home in Kajang from Klang and had just passed the toll when the motorcyclist fired 10 shots at him.

Shah Alam police chief ACP Shafien Mamat said Gooi lost control of his car and hit the road divider.

Shafien said police believed the shooter was alone and had tailed the victim.

Police are viewing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage in the area. 

He urged witnesses to come forward.

Gooi’s body was sent to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang, for post-mortem.
