LOS ANGELES, Dec 6 — Yesterday, home-security technology company Blink announced the release of its latest creation: the outdoor camera “Blink XT”, featuring 2-year battery life, weatherproof technology and infrared night vision.

Blink has produced its very first exterior camera, the Blink XT. With a recommended retail price of US$119 (RM529.37), the camera is among the cheapest of its kind on the market and can be pre-oredered from yesterday, although shipping will only begin in February 2017.

The camera uses two AA lithium batteries which the company claims will last “two years versus other battery-operated cameras that have a battery life of only a few months.”

It can be integrated into the system of pre-existing Blink home security cameras.
