PETALING JAYA, Oct 18 — British comedian James Corden has apologised to a New York City restaurant owner over his rude behaviour towards a waiter.

Keith McNally, owner of Balthazar restaurant, labelled Corden as the ‘most abusive customer’ he had ever encountered, and had initially banned the comedian from visiting his restaurant.

However, after the ban and being called out on social media, Corden apologised.

"Corden just called me and apologised profusely.

"Having ****** up myself more than most people, I strongly believe in second chances,” McNally wrote.

The rude behaviour was recorded on McNally’s Instagram page, earlier this morning.

"Corden was at Balthazar with his wife on October 9 for brunch. His wife ordered an egg yolk omelette with gruyere cheese and salad.

"A few minutes after they received the food, he called their server, MK, and told her there was a little bit of egg white mixed with the egg yolk.

"The kitchen remade the dish but unfortunately sent it with home fries instead of salad.

"That's when the comedian began yelling like crazy to the server: "You can't do your job! You can't do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelette myself,” McNally narrated.

This was not the second time the Late Late Show host has been rude towards McNally’s staff, as the first encounter was in June.

Corden was ticked off after he showed a strand of hair that was found in his main meal to the restaurant’s manager and demanded that he receive another round of drinks, as written on McNally's Instagram.
