SINGAPORE, March 2 — Travel website TripAdvisor has announced its Travellers’ Choice awards for family hotels today; and topping the list in Asia is Singapore’s Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa.
“We are honoured to be recognised by TripAdvisor as the top Travellers’ Choice family hotel in Asia,” said Henry Lee, Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa’s general manager. “It is a pleasure to serve the many families staying with us at Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa and to help create happy memories for them that will last a lifetime.”
Other Asian resorts in the top 10 include Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort in Pattaya coming in second, Legoland Malaysia Hotel in the sixth spot and Royal Plaza Hotel at seventh place.
TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice winners are determined using an algorithm that considers the quantity and quality of reviews from travellers on its website over a 12-month period. Reviews from guests pointed to Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa’s “amazing service”, “nice pool, water slides and kids games” as well as its beachfront location.
