JAKARTA, Dec 24 ― This Christmas season, the fading art of shadow puppetry is being used to tell the story of the season.
In Indonesia, children are putting on a Javanese-style holiday puppet show.
But this is not traditional shadow puppetry where the performers sit behind a curtain and cast a shadow.
In this show, the colourful puppets are on stage seen along with their shadows.
