JULY 8 — Not enough graduates? That’s easily solved — just lower the passing marks. Not enough money every month? Well just borrow, borrow and borrow some more. Too difficult to solve crime? Well let’s just revive oppressive laws that allow for detention without trial. Sedition? Never mind no one knows exactly what it means any more, let’s keep it so we can use it against our enemies (who are these enemies?). Here’s the thing — maybe it is time Malaysians chose the path that is more difficult, that is harder. Because it is the right thing to do. Not the easy way out.
