NEW YORK, March 25 — Restaurant delivery service DoorDash unveiled a redesign of its website and app yesterday, reports VentureBeat.

With that came the release of a new feature, “Delight score”, which rates the food delivery quality of its partnering restaurants.

The new feature is meant to rival Yelp’s quality scores, even if it focuses on the delivery experience and popularity of the restaurant as opposed to food quality or ambiance.

The rating system will function using scores from 1 to 10, and the company hopes the app will be more objective than other rating sites, like Yelp.

Also this week, DoorDash announced that it had raised US$127 million (RM510.546 million) towards business. — AFP-Relaxnews
