SINGAPORE, Feb 18 — Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong was discharged from the Singapore General Hospital this morning (Feb 18) following a successful prostate surgery, according to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office.

Lee's surgeon, Professor Christopher Cheng gave the green light saying: “PM’s pathology report is good. The disease is small but potentially significant. We are very glad we were able to detect and remove it in time. PM should make a full recovery.”

In the statement, PM Lee also thanked “the competent, dedicated and compassionate team of radiologists, pathologists, doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and everyone else who have treated him and helped see him through the operation”. — TODAY
