SEOUL, Aug 25 — Blackpink member Jisoo is set to release a new solo single, Click, on September 4, marking her return to solo music after nearly a year.
Her agency Blissoo announced the release on Tuesday, with further details about the song to be revealed later, Yonhap News Agency reported.
Click will be Jisoo’s first solo release in 11 months since she teamed up with British singer Zayn, formerly of One Direction, for Eyes Closed in October.
Jisoo made her debut with Blackpink in 2016 and launched her solo career with the EP Amortage in February last year.
The EP topped iTunes’ Top Albums chart in 45 countries and regions.
The upcoming release will add to Jisoo’s activities outside Blackpink, as the group’s members continue to pursue individual projects alongside their work as a group.
