DALLAS, Oct 2 — Sabrina Allen, who was 5 years old when she went missing from Texas 12 years ago, has been found by Mexican and US authorities in Mexico, according to officials.

in 2002 when Llorens failed to return her daughter to the girl’s father, Greg Allen, at an agreed upon time and place.

Officials say Llorens then fled to Mexico, she she has been living under aliases and consistently changing her daughter’s appearance and her own to evade authorities.

Authorities finally tracked Llorens and her daughter down in two bedroom apartment in a small town outside of Mexico City on Tuesday.

According to Greg Allen, his daughter has been fed lies about him her entire life, including that he was a wife beater and a bad person. The two have not yet been reunited, but he added that he will try to integrate her into her new life back in the United States the best he can.

During the time Sabrina Allen was gone, Greg Allen remarried and had more children with his new wife. — Reuters
