HONG KONG, March 1 — Hong Kong actress Carina Lau recently admitted that she is more than happy to rub it on her husband’s face that she is a better comedy actor than he is.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress whose new movie A Beautiful Moment was a hit at the Hong Kong box office, spoke to the media at the cast celebratory dinner, where she shared that many Hong Kong viewers preferred her new movie than Tony Leung’s Monster Hunt 2.

“When I went hiking, a lot of people there told me that it was very entertaining. Maybe because our movies have that extra Hong Kong flavour. Different places have different needs. Tony’s movie meets the mainland’s taste, and the children’s too,” she said, humbly.

But then she naughtily added, “This time, I proved it to him [that I am better at comedy].”
