Charlotte Gainsbourg in talks to star in ‘The Snowman’

LOS ANGELES, Dec 16 — Charlotte Gainsbourg could be the next actress to star in The Snowman alongside Michael Fassbender and Rebecca Ferguson.

The indie star is in talks to appear in the Working Title movie, which is set to be executive produced by Martin Scorsese, Deadline reports. Tomas Alfredson will direct.

Written by Matthew Michael Carnahan, the movie’s plot tells the story of Oslo detective Harry Hole, who is investigating a murder involving a woman whose scarf has been found wrapped around a snowman.

The role would be the latest in a string of high profile roles for Gainsbourg, who is about to return to the big screen in next year’s Independence Day: Resurgence. — AFP-Relaxnews
