BANGKOK, June 25 — The 16th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention (WCEC) now underway in Bangkok is an important platform for Chinese entrepreneurs worldwide to exchange insights and explore new opportunities amid the current global economic challenges, President of Associated Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) Tan Sri Low Kian Chuan said.
Low who led a delegation of 200 Malaysian entrepreneurs to the three-day convention said the biennial event also provides an opportunity to revitalise the global economy, particularly in the aftermath of Covid-19.

“This includes the possibility of leveraging agreements such as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and Free Trade Agreement (FTA) to facilitate more free and open trade between Asean countries and China,” he said.
