KUCHING, Nov 29 — Sarawak Education, Innovation and Talent Development Minister Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn today said primary school teachers have little problem in delivering their lessons in English for both Science and Mathematics since its implementation three years ago.

He said this is the overall feedback that his ministry has received from the teachers themselves.

"Students too have shown positive attitude towards the lessons conducted in English,” he said in his winding up speech on matters raised during the debate on the state Budget 2023.

"However, it is considered premature to determine the impact of the programme,” he said, stressing that it would take the entire six year primary education to gauge the impact.

Sagah said in addition to the teaching of Science and Mathematics in English programme, his ministry had initiated the Continuous Professional Development for school leaders and teachers.
