KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 ― About 150 supporters and reporters have gathered at Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's home in Segambut Dalam, in anticipation of his return and scheduled press conference.
This will be the PKR de facto leader's first address to the press and the Malaysian public since his release from prison this morning.
PKR flags and buntings depicting Anwar's face can be seen here outside his home as more supporters showed up.
Chairs and a table have already been set up for the press conference, as close friends and relatives huddled together inside Anwar's home.
Anwar is expected to arrive after his audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Muhammad V.
