KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 24 — Actor-turned-property developer Datuk Noruliman A Rahman has been remanded again for two days to assist in investigations involving a bungalow housing project fraud.

According to a report by Harian Metro earlier today, the remand order against the DBI Properties managing director came from the Ampang Magistrate Court’s Assistant Registrar Roslan Mohd Nor.

The remand will end tomorrow.

The report cited that Noruliman, popularly known as Boy Iman, will assist in investigations under Section 420 of the Penal Code for his alleged connection with a bungalow construction project fraud.

The Malay daily also reported that more than 210 reports nationwide have been recorded by victims on their claims of the housing scheme fraud involving DBI Properties.

In October last year, the 38-year-old and his business partners in Juta Kelulut Global Resources were arrested separately at the Bukit Indah police station and in a condominium in Setapak.

The trio were arrested for their involvement in fraudulent housing projects, causing losses of up to RM6.2 million.

He had previously been remanded in among others Shah Alam, Muar, Sungai Petani, and Kubang Pasu.
