KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 18 ― A mother has appealed for Malaysians’ assistance in locating her seven-year-old Argentine daughter who was allegedly kidnapped by her father.

According to the Embassy of Argentina in Malaysia, Elisabeth Avalos’ former partner was recently seen with their daughter, Alum Langone Avalos, in different locations in Malaysia.

“The Malaysian authorities have been extremely cooperative with us, and we are very hopeful that we will soon find Alum. To be able to achieve this, any information from the public about the case will be very much appreciated”, Manuel Balaguer Salas, Ambassador of Argentina to Malaysia, said in a statement yesterday.

Alum was reported kidnapped from her school in Argentina since last June and was believed to be last seen in Kuala Pilah and was heading to Kulai, Johor.
