JOHOR BARU, Nov 25 — An eight-year-old girl was found dead on the ground floor of her apartment block in Tampoi, here, today.
The girl was last seen at her ninth floor home at the Greenfield Regency Apartment in Taman Tampoi Indah.
Security guards found the girl’s body in a pool of blood about 2.30pm.
Preliminary investigations revealed the victim’s mother was at home at the time of the tragedy.
North Johor Baru police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Taib Ahmad said the victim sustained serious head injuries.
“We have classified the incident as sudden death pending completion of investigations,” he said. ― Bernama
