KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 — A man was killed when he was hit by an electric train last night at the 375.4km stretch near Damansara here.

The unidentified victim, in his 30’s, was confirmed dead at 1.45 this morning at the Selayang Hospital, about two hours after the mishap.

Petaling Jaya police chief, ACP Mohd Zani Che Din said at the time of the incident, the train was heading to Batu Gajah, Perak from Kuala Lumpur Sentral.

In a statement here, he said upon checking, the train driver found the victim’s body on the railway track with the skull cracked open. — Bernama
