KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak thanked the media for the coverage of his visit to China.
“Many do not know the challenges faced by the media in making the news coverage. They had to be at the venue much earlier and return much later than the others, running around as they carried their heavy equipment. All for the purpose of getting beautiful pictures and faster and accurate news reports.
“I say thank you to all the media practitioners involved in making news coverage for the visit to China this time,” he said in his Facebook entry today.
Najib also uploaded photographs of himself with the media representatives covering his visit throughout the five days he was in that country.
Najib’s visit to China, the seventh since 2009, was at the invitation of China’s top leadership to attend the two-day Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation beginning yesterday. — Bernama
