KUALA LUMPUR, March 22 ― The Royal Malaysia Police’s (PDRM) investigation on 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) is ongoing and will be presented to the Attorney-General on completion, said Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
The prime minister’s written parliamentary reply was to PKR MP Nurul Izzah Anwar’s question on why Tan Sri Mohd Apandi Ali “had closed the investigation on 1MDB.”
“Regarding the investigation on 1MDB, it is being done by the Royal Malaysia Police, and PDRM is still in the process of completing the investigation.
“The results of the investigation by PDRM will be presented to the Attorney-General to make a decision,” the prime minister said in the reply.
