KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 — All main airports in the country are operating as usual with all flights taking off and landing as schedule, according to Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB).

MAHB spokesman Ahmad Shahreen Ramli said the operations at the KL International Airport (KLIA) and klia2 were running smoothly.

“As at 3pm, there was no instruction for any flight to turn back or being postponed due to haze and we hope that the operations will continue to run smoothly until midnight tonight,” he told Bernama when contacted here today.

Ahmad Shahreen said the operations at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang, Sultan Azlan Shah Airport in Ipoh, Kuching International Airport in Sarawak and also the Penang International Airport were also running smoothly and that there was no haze-related incident.

However, he said all passengers were advised to contact their respective airlines for the latest flight information from time to time. — Bernama
