KUALA LUMPUR, June 10 — DAP organising secretary Anthony Loke today declined to confirm that National Laureate Datuk A. Samad Said or Pak Samad will join the party tomorrow.

Loke would only say that the former co-chair of Bersih will attend the party’s “Gabungan Impian Kelantan” in Gua Musang, Kelantan tomorrow, as an advisor to the DAP campaign.

“No confirmation yet. Wait for the announcement tomorrow,” Loke told Malay Mail Online when contacted for confirmation of an unverified reports that Samad was enlisting with the DAP.

Gabungan Impian Kelantan is a joint initiative between DAP and several non-governmental organisations (NGOs), which will build 40 new homes for the entire village of Guchil displaced by severe floods that hit the state late last year.
