— Msia PM Press Office (@PMOMalaysia) June 11, 2015KUALA LUMPUR, June 11 — The Prime Minister’s Office today dubbed as false an announcement advertising a purported meeting between Datuk Seri Najib Razak and a local students group tomorrow.
In a post on Twitter this evening, the PMO attached a screen capture of what appears to be a Facebook post by Gabungan Mahasiswa Islam se-Malaysia (GAMIS) claiming of a meeting with Najib at his official residence tomorrow, emblazoned with the word “PALSU” (false).
“The PM’s Office wishes to deny that the existence of the programme ‘Mahasiswa Bertemu PM’ tomorrow. Please take note that the programme is fake,” read the tweet.
The Facebook post claimed that the meeting would involve discussions on the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA), the Rohingya refugee issue, and Kampung Bonggol Donas and Kampung Chubadak.
The post also claimed that the meeting would be open to all students.
